9 Wolfe street
In Rem Koolhaas’s lecture “Current Preoccupations,” he discussed a past competition entry for two libraries at Jussieu, exploring the conceptual relationship between urban and architectural space. He remarked:
“Urban space allows almost anything, and architectural space limits almost anything.” – Rem Koolhaas
Inspired by this lecture, I set a personal challenge to flex my design skills by proposing a conceptual building for 9 Wolfe Street, located in central Auckland.
